JOB DESCRIPTION: Medical receptionists possess strong secretarial skills and have
an understanding of the specialized vocabulary used in the medical field. Typical tasks
include receiving patients, typing medical histories, answering the telephone, scheduling appointments,
preparing and filing medical records, recording office transactions, preparing medical insurance and
government forms, ordering medical supplies, and handling correspondence.
Position Minimum
Requirements: Must be friendly, self-motivated
individual with minimum one year receptionist experience. Must be able to work independently with
minimal direct supervision. Must be able to work well with others. Medical Manager software experience
preferred. Must have a good attendance history.
